On 21. September 2023, the final counter-terrorism exercise “Atlas Common Challenge 2023/II” was held in the Fortress area and was open to the general public.
The exercise was attended by 150 members of special police units from Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Malta, Portugal, Austria, Romania, Northern Ireland, Slovenia and Italy, which are members of the ATLAS grouping.
At the international exercise of the ATLAS intervention units in Komárno, the Police also addressed passers-by at a recruitment stand. Boys and girls of all ages showed interest in the work of a police officer.
